The General Assembly of the China Plastic Association Battery Film Committee and the 11th Battery and Film Industry Chain Development Summit Forum was successfully held in Nantong, Jiangsu!

Co-organized by Sinoma Lithium Film Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Zhongxing New Material Co., LTD., the "General Meeting of the Battery Film Committee of China Plastic Association and the 11th Battery and Film Industry Chain Development Summit Forum" was successfully held in Nantong, Jiangsu.

The conference invited Wang Zhanjie, Chairman of China Plastic Processing Industry Association, Liu Baosheng, Chairman of China Battery Industry Association, Chen Xiufeng, Chairman of Shenzhen Xingyuan Material Technology Co., LTD., Peng Yongjie, Secretary General of Plastic Products Sub-technical Committee of National Plastic Products Standardization Technical Committee, leaders and representatives of the council of the Special Committee, More than 40 leading guests, including professors from universities and institutions, as well as nearly 450 representatives from domestic and foreign lithium battery diaphragm, aluminum-plastic packaging film, proton exchange membrane manufacturers and upstream and downstream supply chain enterprises attended the conference. During the conference also successfully held the battery film special committee council meeting, "lithium ion battery aluminum plastic packaging film" group standard review meeting.

The conference is divided into two stages. The first stage is the new session of the special committee of battery thin film, and the second stage is the 11th Battery and thin film industry chain Development Summit Forum. The secretary general of the special committee, Fan Yan, presided over the new session. The meeting deliberated and adopted the Work Report of the First Council and the Key Work Plan for 2023, the Financial Report of the First Council and the Working Regulations of the Battery Film Committee of the China Plastic Association. Chairman Wang Zhanjie read out the approval document of the new term, the assembly elected a new council of China Plastic Association battery film special committee and carried out the ceremony of awarding and issuing certificates. Shenzhen Star Source Material Technology Co., Ltd. was appointed as the chairman unit of the second session of the Council of the battery film Special Committee, with Gao Dongbo, the director of the research institute of the company, as the chairman of the special committee.

Subsequently, "The 11th Battery and thin film Industry Chain Development Summit Forum" was successfully held. Gao Dongbo, president of "Star Source Material" Research Institute, presided over the morning meeting.

Chen Xiufeng, chairman of "Star Source Material" company, made a welcome speech at the conference. Chen Dong said that the company has been engaged in the lithium battery diaphragm industry for 20 years. It is the earliest national brand with three complete categories of dry and wet coated lithium battery diaphragm in China. It has created a number of industry first and become the pioneer and leader of domestic lithium battery diaphragm industry. While accelerating the construction of Nantong base and Foshan Nanhai Base, the company is also accelerating the layout of overseas markets. As the chairman unit of the battery film committee, we will give full play to the leading and demonstration role of the industry and contribute to the development of the industry.

Wang Zhanjie, chairman of China Plastic Processing Industry Association, addressed the opening ceremony of the conference. Chairman Wang congratulated the newly elected Director Gao Dongbo on the new board of Directors, and affirmed the contribution made by the previous board units and member enterprises to the development of the industry. Chairman Wang made several comments on the development of the industry and the work of the battery film committee: (1) Constantly strengthen scientific and technological innovation, promote the sustainable development of the industry; (2) Actively seize the "dual carbon" development opportunities to promote industrial green transformation and upgrading; (3) Further implement the "three Products" action to promote high-quality development of the industry; (4) Strengthen upstream and downstream cooperation and promote collaborative innovation and development of the industrial chain; 5. Chairman Wang expects the new council leadership to take the transition work as a new starting point, give full play to the role of backbone enterprises, actively cope with the challenges and difficulties in the process of industry development, formulate a layout for the development of the industry, and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of the industry.

Liu Baosheng, President of China Battery Industry Association, who was invited to attend this conference, expressed warm congratulations on the convening of this conference. He said that lithium battery diaphragm, aluminum plastic film and proton exchange membrane are all key links in lithium ion battery or fuel cell, and play a key role in battery performance. The development of battery industry cannot be separated from the support of membrane materials. President Liu expressed his hope to work together with the China Plastics Processing Association, and jointly study and judge the new ideas and trends of the battery industry development, to cope with the new opportunities and challenges facing the battery industry, to help the development of new energy industry and the realization of double carbon goals.

Liu Shougui, vice chairman of Xingyuan Material Co., Ltd. shared the report "Trends and Prospects of diaphragm materials in the development and changes of lithium industry" at the conference. From Liu Dong's report, we can see that the new energy industry is an important pillar industry in the future development, with huge development potential and market demand. As a key material for batteries, the battery film will certainly catch the fast track of the development of the new energy industry and help the development of the new energy industry.

Professor Wu Yuping, doctoral supervisor of Southeast University, shared the report "Development Trend of high safety Diaphragm: No hole". Professor Wu made an in-depth analysis of the safety issues of lithium ion batteries, introduced the background and characteristics of several generations of diaphragm, and summarized the team's work and progress in related fields. High safety energy storage system is the inevitable trend of the development of new energy industry. As the key battery membrane material, it is necessary to increase the technological research and development efforts, accelerate the pace of technological innovation, and play an important role in the development of high safety and high energy battery system.

Professor Tong Qingsong from Fujian Normal University shared the report "Preparation of High Safety Diaphragm and its application in high-performance lithium batteries". Professor Tong introduced the research background of high safety diaphragm, the research progress of coated membrane, and the research and achievements of supramolecular electrolyte in detail. High safety diaphragm is an indispensable key material for high-performance lithium battery. Through material and process innovation, the technology content of diaphragm is improved, and the diaphragm plays an important role in the performance and safety of lithium battery.

Dr. Pan Zeng from Fodi Battery Co., Ltd. shared the topic report "Application of polypropylene diaphragm in power battery". Let you have a deeper understanding of the development history of the power battery of Ferdi, Ferdi Company in the battery industry chain layout, blade battery diaphragm development history, as well as the experience of power battery diaphragm development. Polypropylene dry diaphragm has the characteristics of uniform pore structure, compression resistance, high temperature resistance and low cost. It has become a good partner for lithium iron phosphate blade battery, and is also the diaphragm material of choice for future industrial energy storage.

In the morning, the industry experts shared the future development trend of the new energy battery industry and the battery diaphragm industry. At the same time, they shared the impact of lithium battery diaphragm on the safety performance of batteries from the perspective of technology, and how to do a good job in the development and innovation of lithium battery diaphragm, so as to bring confidence to the high-quality development of the battery film industry.

Professor Zhang has a lot of scientific research achievements in the technology and development of polymer composite flame retardant materials, the design and synthesis of new flame retardants, and the development of multifunctional flame retardant polymer materials. He introduced the construction of flame retardant multifunctional microspheres and their application in high safety and high specific energy lithium batteries, which provided the direction for the development of flame retardant film materials in China.

Dr. Dong Qiuchun from Sinoma Lithium Membrane Co., Ltd. gave a speech on Demand and Development Trend of lithium ion battery diaphragm.
