The 15th Shenzhen International Battery Technology Exchange Conference/Exhibition (CIBF2023), hosted by the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association, is scheduled to be held from May 16 to 18, 2023 at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition is abbreviated as CIBF2023. Simultaneously held: the 6th Shenzhen International New Energy Storage Technology and Engineering Application Exhibition, the 4th China Mobile Power Exhibition, and the 1st International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology and Equipment Exhibition.
The exhibition area of CIBF2023 will reach 240000 square meters (12 exhibition halls), a year-on-year increase of 140%, and it is expected that there will be over 1500 exhibitors. The CIBF2023 exhibition will focus on showcasing global power batteries, energy storage batteries, 3C batteries, charging and swapping equipment and supporting facilities, hydrogen and fuel cells, various battery materials, manufacturing equipment, and power and energy storage system solutions. In particular, it will focus on showcasing a series of achievements in China's power batteries, fuel cells, and energy storage fields in various new energy passenger vehicles, buses, logistics vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, ships, and other fields in the past two years. The CIBF2023 Technical Exchange Conference will continue to focus on the theme of "power batteries, energy storage batteries, and fuel cells", with a focus on exchanging the latest developments in power batteries, energy storage batteries, fuel cells, and various materials. The application of thickness measurement technology in the battery industry
At present, in the battery manufacturing industry, electrode coating is of great significance for the capacity, consistency, and safety of lithium battery batteries. According to incomplete statistics, battery failures caused by electrode coating process account for more than 10% of all causes of lithium battery failures, and are also a key point in the production process of lithium batteries. The fundamental way to solve this key point is to ensure the uniformity and consistency of the coating surface density during the production process of electrode coating. High precision thickness gauges are used to monitor and control the production of electrode coating, so that the coating quality produced has a basic guarantee.
Our company's independently developed and produced laser co intersecting thickness gauge uses a self-developed ultra-high precision laser probe to directly measure the thickness of positive and negative electrode coatings, which is intuitive, stable, high-precision, fast response speed, and convenient to use. Mainly used for thickness measurement of positive and negative electrode coatings (roller coating, scraper coating, slit coating) in lithium batteries. Scraper coating and slit coating production line: The laser thickness gauge can be installed after coating and in front of the oven to measure the thickness of the coated wet film; It can also be installed after the oven and before the winding machine to measure the thickness of the coated dry film. Roller coating production line: The laser thickness gauge can be installed behind the pressure roller and in front of the winding machine to measure the thickness of the pressed polarizer. Thickness contour measurement function for the thinning area on both sides of the head and tail: The high-frequency laser measurement spot is only 0.1 millimeters, which can accurately measure the edge contour and display the real-time monitoring of the thinning status of the head and tail of the coating machine, ensuring the balance of the anode and cathode charges and preventing lithium deposition.

With the increasing expansion of China's new energy vehicle market, the demand for power lithium batteries has been significantly increasing year by year.
